As well as the Active for Life Project, NHS Brighton & Hove also supports the following initiatives and programmes:

ZestERS is a programme of supported physical activity options for residents of Brighton and Hove at risk of, or with an existing medical or condition or lifestyle factor. The scheme is available to people who meet the referral criteria and are currently inactive, offering highly subsidised exercise for 3 months. If you want to become more active, Health Trainers can help you to succeed by providing information, motivation and support in setting goals. This FREE and confidential service is designed to support you to achieve realistic goals and long-term health benefits. The service is available to adults (18+) who are looking to make positive lifestyle changes in relation to their health.

ThinkDrinkDrugs is your best source of your best source of drug and alcohol information, plus advice on where to get help in Brighton and Hove”. The site offers self-tests for alcohol and drug use, has a selection of ‘real-life’ stories from young people and adults, parents and carers and professionals, and facts about drug and alcohol use. It offers advice and support to anyone affected by drug and alcohol use, either their own use or other people’s use, and signposts the public to where they can access help, advice and support.
