Training for existing coaches and volunteers

Active Sussex run a programme of workshops designed to provide opportunities for ongoing personal development for coaches and volunteers within clubs and organisations across sussex .

Community Sport Leadership Award:

The course is a nationally recognised NVQ level two qualification aimed at developing sports leadership skills.  The course is open to any member of the public over the age of sixteen.  Elements of the course include: organising and delivering activities, structure of sport in the UK , understanding and leading fitness sessions, principles of sports events and competitions, adapting sports activities and leadership skills in the community. All units of the course must be completed to achieve the award.
