TAKEPART Brighton & Hove International Festival of Sport is the biggest celebration of community sport and physical activity in the country. The city-wide Festival was launched in 2008 as the first of 5 Festivals between now and the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.
The TAKEPART 2010 festival was extremely successful, current estimates show that more than 10,000 people attended the launch event, and thousands more took part in taster sessions and events delivered by local clubs, in schools and in the community for children and adults. We are currently evaluating the activities and a full report on the 2010 festival will be available from mid-September 2010 onwards.
